Today, June 10th, is my good friend Zandee's birthday. (Happy Birthday Zandee!!) Tonight while she and I schmoozed at the Connect T.O. Artscape event with several other friends we remembered that last year for her birthday she celebrated at my CD release party. That's when it hit me - my CD has been out for one year!!
And so on this one year anniversary of Words We Both Could Say I would like to thank everyone who has helped make the CD a success. Thank you to all the musicians, my producer Marc Rogers, my publicist Sue, the radio stations, my family and friends and everyone who has helped spread the Words We Both Could Say!!
Wow - I can't believe it's been a year! A year later, Words We Both Could Say is still at the top of my playlist. That's some good sh*t, Shannon Butcher! Congrats on all the success you've had with it!
p.s. The '*' was my attempt to keep things classy. I know you jazz people are easily shocked.
